Community spirit, making a difference

I enjoy success as much as you do, I also believe that when it comes to community spirit and giving – if you can, you should.

If businesses align their core purpose and/or charitable giving with one of the 17 United Nations Sustainability Goals then collectively we can make a real difference.

Given my role as an educator, I choose to align our contribution to:

Goal 4: Ensure inclusive and quality education for all and promote lifelong learning.

I demonstrate my commitment by increasing availability, inclusion and diversity in the following ways:

  • Volunteering as an organiser and coach for street coaching flash mobs.
  • Volunteering as an organiser on behalf of the Human Library.
  • Offering reduced-fee resilience training to staff and volunteers of charities that improve the prospects for disadvantaged youth.
  • Ensuring that the design of all our learning events consider inclusion and diversity, particularly around gender and neurodiversity.
  • Offering ‘women in leadership’ masterclasses and supporting gender diversity initiatives.
  • 10% of profits are donated annually
